This LARP was devised from a simple childhood memory: Monopoly, 3-12 players. This is, I am increasingly sure, a false memory.

But the actual LARP holds up well, players separated into four factions: the State, Capital, Citizens, and Dissidents, all with their own unique rules.

They made deals, and exploited whatever edge they could find to survive and thrive within capitalism.

A thieving cat, a revolutionary iron, an authoritarian cannon, a banking top hat... it was a world of absurdity and political scheming. I've run this LARP twice, once ending in an alliance between capital and revolution, and once in a pseudo-democratic political rule.

It's a lot of fun, not least seeing what people do when they are allowed to control the great levers of power.
