The Key of Dreams (2024-5)

Treowen Manor, from May 2024 to July 2025
Critical acclaim below, and hailed as one of the best immersive shows of 2024 Broadway World, No Proscenium and Immersive Rumours.
I serve as the Associate Creative Director of Lemon Difficult.
In particular, that's meant working on The Key of Dreams, their flagship 24-hour interactive immersive experience.
It's rather difficult to know where to start. I think there are some blogs I wrote somewhere which have never been published. I could write extensively about the creative process (I was one of the writers alongside Creative Director Ivan Caric and Lead Writer Laura Langrish, with my work mostly focused on dramaturgy, structure, and developing characters for interactive drama. I also wrote one of the narrative puzzle trails, adapting The Music of Erich Zann from the perspective of the monster, work as director in the usual theatre sense for the shows, and am also an actor-facilitator.)
But after nearly two years of seasonal celebrations, midsummer specials, and a score of different shows with their own unique elements, that seems a bit strange. There's been a lot of refinement, learning, and development in that time - it will surprise nobody that a 24-hour show, and a 36-hour season finale, takes a lot of work.
I'll probably come back to this page once I've found something substantive to say. Or, if you have any questions, drop me a line.
