This was a rather odd project. After working with Ed Lambert in my role as Marketing Director at Tête à Tête for several years, we decided to collaborate.

This was a very traditional set-up; I wrote some words (drawing on my interests in post-apocalyptic worlds, particularly the iconic Apocalypse World) to make a comic libretto.

Ed then wrote some music, with an especial enthusiasm for the 'super-soprano' Emily Thorner.

And last, JEUDI came in as the production company, making both staging and an accompanying cinematic film.

Vanishing from the process was an interesting experience, seeing each person interpret the previous party's work until it became a dark, Weimar-esque vision.

I've never actually seen the film, which had a one-night screening in 2022 when I was otherwise engaged. Perhaps one day.
