The sovereign is dead. So too the nation?
Disclaimer: I'm sure there's many flaws in the below; I'm not 100% convinced by it myself, though can't quite work out why. Please do feel free to tell me so. However, I think the idea being teased out overall has some substance though, which I hope will be of interest if you read to the end. What is a nation? Within the humanities, one often turns to Anderson’s definition as a rule of thumb: an imagined political community, imagined as both inherently limited and sovereign.
